Although I do not proclaim to be an intellectual giant on the subject of health insurance & healthcare, I can talk to you about my current situation. I am a small business owner and I purchase my own health insurance. I know for a fact that health insurance is very affordable for young men under the age of 35... I am currently looking at my monthly bill and the premium that I pay is $115 per month. I do have a $25 co-pay for all office visits and a $50-urgent care co pay. I can tell you that if I have a medical problem and need to go to the hospital, the total maximum out of pocket charge for one year is $2,500 on a 80/20 plan. The insurance company also increased my total life time benefits from $2.5 million to $7.5 million this year!

I know, my health insurance really sucks, right? (I am being sarcastic.) If you are an uninsured man just out of high school or college, please go to the Medical Mutual of Ohio website and get a quote for affordable health insurance.

Now as a small business owner I am excellent in crunching numbers, calculating and estimating. The Liberals, Communists, Socialists are all screaming that there are 47 million (that is debatable) uninsured citizens. And that 1/3 of the 47 million are uninsured young workers. That would make 16 million young workers that are currently without Health Insurance. Let's say half of those people are young men under the age of 35.
This means 8 million men under the age of 35 have the ability to purchase their own health insurance.

It is safe to assume that most can easily afford $100 per month for a health insurance premium right? I mean the cost of a good cell phone plan is $60 to $100 per month right?
I ask what is more important, Health insurance or a cell phone? Going out and drinking beer with your buds can easily cost you $100 in just two weekends of partying. A cable TV and high speed internet connection cost $100 per month. Two play station games cost $100.
You get the drift.

In two days a young hardworking man can earn enough money to purchase health insurance for himself for one month.

To all those Young men reading this post... Get off your lazy ass and start working! If you are uninsured, if you have no job, I say it is time to start thinking about taking on a manual labor job. It is time for you to man-up!
As a young male business owner I dig ditches and lay stone for a living, I bust my butt day in and day out. I am not afraid to get dirty and sweat for a living. Get off of your lazy ass and work!
Yes there still are companies who only hire illegal immigrants but I say, go to the owners of those companies and tell them you want a job. Demand that they hire you over an Illegal immigrant. It is time to kick those out who are here illegally and give jobs to legal American citizens so that they can afford food, shelter, clothing and yes health insurance.

To those reading this post, and those who know a young working man in need of health insurance. Tell them that there is affordable health insurance. Inform your friends and family members, we can at least get 8 million young male citizens insured in this country who currently have none.
