[URGENT MESSAGE: PLEASE HELP OUR TROOPS!!!!
On JANUARY 23d the American Legion Post in Whitehall, OH, will sponsor a blood drive for our troops. Date, Times & Location follow below. ALSO, the Gahanna American Legion Post 797, has committed at least 100 pints of blood to the ASBP (Armed Services Blood Program). Ohio is the only state that allows civilians (those not in the military) to donate blood to the Armed Services. This was accomplished by the American Legion of Ohio, therefore, every other month the Department of Defense sends a team to Columbus to collect that needed blood. Since my Post (797) may not be able to meet the 100 pints in March, I am asking every one of you in the 912 group to help us out. The drive will be held at the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Whitehall, Ohio at 165 N. Yearling Road.
I am attaching a link to the pre-qualification site so you can check on your eligibility before you sign up to donate. You can join my cause on Facebook. Just search for Harvey Jones and go to causes.

Once you find that you are eligible, please go to the site at:
http://www.BloodDrivefortheTroops.org
find the March date sponsored by Post 797 of the American Legion and sign up for a time to donate your blood. No Phone Card or Goodie Box is more deserved than that pint of blood that you can donate. Each pint can save up to 4 of our American Soldier's lives.
The Red Cross does not provide blood from their drives for the military. It must be bought and paid for by the government for the troops to receive it. PLEASE, PLEASE help us out in this endeavor!!
